The Department of Statistics offers a Minor in Statistics for students in other fields of study to enhance their knowledge of statistical computation, theory of mathematical statistics, and many common techniques of statistical analysis.
Undergraduate students at Illinois can receive recognition for completing coursework that provides an understanding of the discipline of data science with the Certificate in Data Science. The Computational Science and Engineering certificate program provides undergraduate students an opportunity to develop a solid base in problem solving using computation as a major tool for modeling complicated problems in science and engineering.
The Stat-MS Prep Track program is intended for advanced undergraduate students intending to pursue a Stat-MS degree at Illinois.
