We aim to take on clients that are affiliated with the government, non-profits, educational institutions, etc. Being a part of StatCom is a unique opportunity for student consultants to gain practical experience, client communication skills, and network in a team driven professional environment.

    • The aim of the user group is to build a community of interest around data science to foster learning, collaboration, and networking. The group will serve both students and professionals to bridge the gap between the analytical sciences and practical applications of industry. Anyone is invited and included, from undergraduate students (or younger!) to seasoned professionals. There is no requirement for admission, only an interest in learning more about data science.

  • Informs

    • Student run organization that encourages interest in Operations Research (OR) and Management Sciences (MS). INFORMS stands for the Institute for Operations Research and Management Sciences. It is the largest professional organization dedicated to these two fields. These are two fields that work very closely together, and in a lot of ways overlap. Here at Illinois, our student chapter seeks to expand the study and use of OR/MS fields here in Champaign -Urbana. We invite students of ALL majors to join us as we research and learn from professionals who use these principles on a daily basis. We want to engage students interested in these fields, encourage further study of them, and help establish them as professionals.
