Join us on March 24, 2023 for an empowering Women in STAT event that showcases the perspectives of successful female leaders in academia and industry. Meet five (5) female panelists who will share their journey in the STEM field, including their motivations, challenges faced, and how they overcame obstacles in their careers. This event is a unique opportunity for current UIUC students in STEM to gain valuable insights and learn from experienced women in the field. With brief presentations from each panelist and an open forum discussion, this event is a must-attend for female students pursuing degrees in statistics and other STEM fields. All are welcome to join and engage in the conversation, including male students and those from other degree programs.
Registration for this event is required as seating is limited.
This event will be held at the Beckman Auditorium from 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM, followed by a casual networking luncheon from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM. A separate lunch registration is required.
