Career Forum

Information for Employers & Graduate Programs

The Departments of Statistics and Mathematics host an annual career and graduate school forum every Fall semester. This is an opportunity for students and potential employers to talk one-on-one about career opportunities, and for students to learn more about graduate studies in different fields and at different institutions.

To participate in an upcoming forum as an employer or graduate school representative, or to find out more, please reach out to our corporate and external relations team.

Why Participate?

The forum provides a focused, high-impact environment for meaningful, one-on-one conversations between recruiters, admissions representatives, and students. Whether you are seeking candidates for internships, part-time roles, or full-time positions—or aiming to promote graduate study opportunities—this event offers direct access to a strong and diverse talent pool with analytical, computational, and problem-solving expertise.

  • Targeted Talent Access
Engage with students specifically trained in quantitative disciplines, many of whom possess experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, machine learning, and computational methods.
  • Efficient Recruitment & Outreach
Meet a large number of qualified candidates in a single, structured event, allowing for both exploratory conversations and potential on-the-spot interviews.
  • Advance Resume Access
Participating organizations may receive resumes from registered students ahead of the event, enabling more intentional and productive interactions.
  • Graduate Program Visibility
Share information about your institution, programs, and admissions pathways with students actively exploring advanced study options.

Event Format

The forum is structured to maximize engagement while remaining flexible for employers and representatives. Students are encouraged to research participating organizations in advance, resulting in more focused and informed conversations during the event.
