Georgios Avdis named recipient of a Gerondelis Foundation Graduate School Grant

Georgios Avdis, fourth-year Ph.D. student, has been selected as a recipient of a grant from the Gerondelis Foundation. Georgios is advised by Joshua Agterberg.

The Gerondelis Foundation provides financial support to students from Greece who hold a Greek undergraduate degree and have been accepted into graduate or certificate programs at American institutions of higher education. Grants are awarded based on recommendations from educational institutions regarding students’ qualifications and financial need.

This recognition highlights Georgios’s academic accomplishments and supports his continued graduate studies and research within the Department of Statistics.
