The Department of Statistics is pleased to announce that Assistant Professor Chan Park has been selected as a recipient of the 2025 Institute of Mathematical Statistics (IMS) New Researcher Travel Award. This prestigious award supports promising early-career researchers within five years of earning their PhD by providing funding to attend and present at IMS-sponsored or co-sponsored meetings.
As part of the award, Professor Park will receive travel support to share his work through a paper or poster presentation, further contributing to the advancement of statistical research and collaboration within the global community.
