Assistant Professor Naveen Narisetty receives the Helen Corley Petit Scholars position for early career scholars. Recipients of the named scholar are awarded based on their contributions in education and research at the University of Illinois. The Helen Corley Petit Scholars is made possible through an endowment for the development of the scholarship and teaching of early career faculty members in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Helen Corley Petit is a deceased alumna of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
