The American Statistical Association (ASA) have selected Yangfan Zhang - fourth year PhD student - as one of three winners of the Student Paper Awards of ASA  Nonparametric Statistics. Yangfan's paper, titled: Adaptive Inference for Change Points in High-Dimensional Data will be presented at a special Joint Statistical Meeting (JSM) topic-contributed session "Nonparametric Statistics Student Paper Competition Presentations" sponsored by the ASA NPS Section. In addition to the three award winners, a best-presentation award winner will be selected from the 6 finalists and will receive a gift certificate. The awards, including the best presentation award, will be given at the General Business Meeting of the NPS Section at JSM 2021.

JSM 2021 is scheduled to occur from August 7-12 at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle, Washington.
