Effective Fall 2020, the Statistics Main Office has been split between two on campus facilities. The business, purchasing, reimbursements, and hourly student HR will remain located in 101 Illini Hall. All Undergraduate and Masters advising, career advising, administrative advising, and Graduate Assistants HR have been relocated to the Computing Applications Building (CAB). All offices are locked to general and student traffic unless otherwise noted. Students should review the advising information below for specific contact information on arranging advising appointments.
Contact Emails for Statistics Staff
- stat-office@illinois.edu - For general questions for our department that don't fall into one of the addresses below (a good default if you can't figure out which other to use).
- stat-courses@illinois.edu - For faculty with questions about course scheduling or academic events.
- stat-grad@illinois.edu - For Graduate students with inquiries about program requirements, form processing, doctoral exam scheduling, etc.
- stat-hr@illinois.edu - For faculty, staff, or student employees with questions about their appointment, pay, time sheets, etc.
- stat-admissions@illinois.edu - For applicants to our Graduate programs with questions about the application process or materials.
- stat-travel@illinois.edu - For questions about travel arrangements, cancellations, reimbursements, or event planning.
- Please use one of the above emails to contact Office Staff to increase email visibility for the appropriate person. Emailing individual office staff directly limits the available people who may be able to assist you more directly and most efficiently.
In-person tutoring is not advised at this time. All tutoring meetings should be conducted remotely.
Tutor requests can be submitted here: Tutor Request Form
Please note, the Department of Statistics does not specifically endorse or provide direct contact of available tutors. If you submit a request for a tutor via the above link, your request will be automatically forwarded to students who have previously indicated they would be available for tutoring. After submitting your form, if one of the student tutors are available they will contact you directly to make arrangements.
